CRAIG JONES CLOSE TO 2008 DEALGianluca Nannelli has put pen to paper and signed for the Hannspree Honda Althea team to run in World Supersport for 2008.
Team manager, Slavatore Giorlandino has confirmed that Gianluca Nannelli will ride for them and British talent, Craig Jones is expected to be his team-mate.
Jones turned heads when he stepped on the podium for the first time at Brno in third place aboard his Reve Ekerold Honda; he followed that up with a second at Vallelunga and a third at Magny Cours. An official announcement regarding the British rider is expected shortly. The team will field just one rider in World Superbike and that is Roberto Rolfo.
The three man team will start winter testing at Calafat from 25th-28th November and at Jerez from 17th -19th December.
