Hodgson signs for Honda in AMANeil Hodgson has apparently signed for Honda to race in AMA next season. What is he thinking !! I was so hoping he would return to WSBK next season and give us a Brit capable of winning in World Superbike to cheer for but it looks like he has apparently settled for fighting for 3rd place in AMA next year instead. Hodgson is now 33 and surely this means we will never see him in WSBK again, he may return to the British Superbike Championship after his AMA contract expires. I personally think the AMA Superbike championship is some way in front of the AMA championship in terms of Riders, Machinery and Sponership so this is a really strange decision, he'd have been better off returning to Britain and competing in BSB. I saw Hodgson last week in the Isle of Man walking along Strand Street in Douglas, my mate over there said he has split with this wife so maybe this is the driver behind him going back to America, who knows.
I wish him good luck but I am disapointed in this decision.
