John McGuiness at The race of the YearJohn McGuiness will be riding a virgin Media Yamaha R1 at this years Race of the Year meeting at Mallory Park this weekend.
Could it be that he's Yamaha bound for next year..  as i have heard that he has parted with Honda recently  .. and they wouldn't give him his TT winning Blade for the Stars at Darely event ( nobody told him that his bike was on display at a Bike Show in Germany !!! )
Lets face it, he's not been appreciated at Honda considering what he's done for them over the last couple of years. 
My prdiction for 2008 is .... McGuiness being the BIG name in the new R1 Cup and having a works run R1 for the major International Road Racing events ( Team AIM Yamaha i would think) 
I'd love to see him stuff them at next years TT !!
Lets see what happens eh
