Manx 2008 - Weatherhi all,
The weather was a major pain in the arse this year at the Manx. Every race was delayed and none of the races went full distance. The weather was crap all week with Mist all over the place. I was gutted that the racing on Friday was cancelled all together at 10am, the weather cleared up and if they had just held off a few hours the racing program could have been completed on the Friday, they obviously realised they had made a mistake as they decided to make an announcement at 4pm, the announcement was that racing would start at 6:45 with roads closing at 6. By the time 6pm came around the weather had gone to crap again and it was cancelled until the Sat. My flight was at 12:45 so we missed the Senior and Lightweight. Thats 2 years now I haven't seen a Senior Manx GP. I have rebooked the apartment and hope for better luck next year.
