Manx GP 08 - A new star arrives !!DANIEL Kneen recorded his third victory of his debut Manx Grand Prix and carved his name into the record books in the process.
No rider had ever won three Isle of Man MGP events in one week before today - but Kneen appears to be a class apart and produced another breathtaking performance on the Snaefell Mountain Course this afternoon.
The 21-year-old's latest success - following earlier victories in the Newcomers C and Junior events - came in this afternoon's three-lap Ultra Lightweight race where he took victory by 25s from runner-up Kirk Farrow and third-placed Ross Johnson, who was another 27s adrift.
Meanwhile, fellow Manxman Dan Sayle, a multiple TT winner as Dave Molyneux's sidecar passenger, took victory in the Lightweight class, run concurrently with the Ultra Lightweights.
Nigel Moore paid the price for a stop box infringement and subsequent 10s time penalty to finish 8s behind Sayle on corrected time while Neil Kent claimed the remaining podium place in third, trailing by a further 20s.
