Manx GP 08 - Junior - WeldonMy mate who lives on the Island heard today that Michael Weldon had a number of complaints against him during the Junior Manx GP this year. Daniel Kneen, had a word about him and that's why they did a superfast pit stop, he said get me out before that nutter he is all over the place. It look like Weldon has done he last race in the Manx, the word is that he will not get accepted to ride next year.
He eventually crashed on the final lap at Windycorner but may have been disqualified from the race, he was warned about his race craft as he was very wild.....!!!!!! He passed 3 riders under yellows at quarry bends , one rider packed in at the grandstand and said he would never race the Manx or any other circuit again if Weldon was riding as it is risky enough without him!!!!
He tried top go round the outside of Phil McGurk at windy and ran into him causing damage to the swinging arm of Phil's bike and snapping the bobings of the rear spindle.
Nick Jefferies was watching at windy and he said that it was a VVVVV big off and thought that mike was a goner.
The bike took the fence out and cleared the wall and got stuck in the bog, they couldn't get it out. They asked a lorry to go up and use the crane, they couldn't find the bike,,,...!!!
He was also told about using funny fuel, race control warned him practice week.
Anyway hope Weldon recovers from his injuries sustained in the crash.
