Manx GP 2007 - LatestJust retruned from the 2007 Manx GP. There were some fantastic performances some heartbreak and a huge disapointment when the senior was cancelled due to Bad weather and lack of Marshalls. The race could have ran this morning on Staurday but the MArshalling issue mainly driven by the arrest of the Sector Marshall due to the accident at the 26th Milestone on the last lap of the last race at the TT this year. Performer of the week has to go to Oliver Linsdell who won the Class B Newcomers by over 13 minuties, let me just repeat that 13 MINUTES !!!! He then went on to finish in a very respectable position in the Junior and Win the Ultra Lightweight Race to do the first ever Newcomers Class B and Ultra Lightweight race double in one week. Massive tragedy happened to last years Newcomers Class A winner Shaun Conner who also finished 4th in last years senior as he was lying in second place in the Junior and crashed at 150 mph just before Alpine which is a quite tight left hand bend before Ballaugh, Shaun sustained Serious injuries but he was stable, he was helicoptered to Liverpool Hospital and we all wish him all the best and hope he has a full recovery, he is in our thoughts. I will post loads more Manx GP stuff over the coming days !!!
