Sofuoglu to SuperbikeTen Kate have confirmed they have signed Kenan Sofuoglu for a further 3 years to race in World Superbike. This means that Kenan will move up to the big class while Jonathan Rea moves into Kenan's vacated spot in the World Supersport team. This also gives a bit of a hint as to who the other Ten Kate World Superbike birth will go to, as if you think about it Rea is going to be in Superbike for 09 so Ten Kate must surely be looking for a rider who is capable of being competitive for 1 season as the line up is already finalised for 2009. Ten Kate may decide to run more than 2 riders in World Superbike which would alter things slightly. What does this mean for Kiyonari ? This surely adds fuel to the fire that Checa is in line for the Ride in 08.

From what i read this week , Kiyo is in at Ten Kate and the remaining ride is between Checa and Andrew Pitt.
