James Toseland finally clinched the 2008 World Superbike Championship at Magny-Cours in France. Toseland finished in 6th while Haga did the double but 6th place was enought for Toseland to take the title. Finally after a fantastic season, 14 podiums which included 8 Race victories James finally brought it home giving Ten Kate there first Superbike Crown.

Great to see Toseland wrap up the title after dominating so much of the season.
Now lets see if he gets a mention at theis years BBC Sports Personality of the year  Koz we all know that there's gonna be a certain young F1 driver who's probably gonna get the award ... even if he doesn't win the title

Don't even get me started on the Sham that is Sports Personality of the Year, for starters they should remove the word personality and lets not forget Toseland actually has to overtake to win his races. In additon with all the cheating going on in F1 at the moment and the fact that there are only 4 people able to win F1 races and thats down to the Cars.
The level of skill required to win on 2 wheeles is far greater than that in F1, you just need to be a decent driver in the right car. Any of the Grid would be up there winning if they were in a Mclaren or Ferrari, where as in bikes its a completely different kettle of fish, doesn't matter if you have the best bike in the world, if you aren't upto it then you will not be winning anything.
I would like to think Ricky Hatton would give Hamilton a good run for his money if he beats Maweather on Dec 8th. As Toseland won't really feature my vote goes to Hatton, if he wins.
